Rodrigo Dávila Castillo is a computer scientist specializing in web development and geographic information systems (GIS) development; he is currently studying at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and has previously worked at the Conrad Blucher Institute for Surveying & Science at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Holding a passion for community involvement, he has held the role of caucus officer for his university's LGBTQ+ student organization Prism from spring 2023 to the present day, serving as a capable leader within the 501(c)(3) and a model for university student involvement.
A tinkerer at heart, he has worked on numerous projects both inside and outside of the classroom, as demonstrated in his portfolio. His passion for experimentation and his wide-ranging skill set led him to develop a creative showcase in ArcApple!!, and his drive for environmental sustainability and community outreach led him to contribute to the Nurdle Patrol project in his time at CBI.
A senior at UTSA, he is now looking to contribute his creative spirit, passion for community contributions, and leadership ability in a professional developer setting.
